Discontent ..

He was working with a not so big firm that was paying him an amount placed on the higher side of the average a 25 year old Indian of similar background & profile would take home. He was not a nobody, his being a small enterprise , he was getting the much needed exposure as well as importance. The top management sought for his advice while taking important decisions. This was something ideal , a person would expect from life.

But, deep inside , a discontent was residing for quite some and was growing stronger day by day. It was acting the evil Manthara , cajoling & coercing him to denounce something that had become his zone of comfort. He kept warding it off for more than an year but it turned more and more determined and resilient. Finally, on 7th of August 2011, it succeeded and "X" quit his luxurious job in search of something unknown, un- thought of, probably something he desired, something he wanted out of life. He decided to go traveling, it was easy until one the day when all his cash reserves dried up. This was the realisation, all his education had failed to make him count one among the best fits for survival as per Darwin. He could do only what he was trained for , sitting in big air conditioned office working on some software, some excel sheets , attending meetings and all , all in a virtual world. The reality was far from that, he got to places where electricity, internet access, other leisure were far fetched dreams only. He lays stranded what to do to earn the bread for his day.
Every hour ahead was a challenge to him and he was kind of enjoying it, "may be" this is the life, the learning he wanted.

Still a " may be" as he has not yet conquered the devil of discontent, it may any time give a surprise visit saying , "Hey , I am back, did u miss me ??".
